At What Age Should kids have Social Media?

So your kids are getting to that age where all their friends are getting social media and they are itching to get it too. It might be hard to let you kids go and post things for the world to see and never know who is seeing it . Now there isn't a black and white answer because it depends on how your child acts. I was 8 years old , I know now that that was a little early to get an Instagram. If you are going to have your child get a social media account at such a young age you might want to get a social media yourself just to keep an watchful eye out for them. On Instagram your child can have a private account this means they would pick and choose who can follow them. If they have a public account they can go on their account and block them.
